An animal activist based out of Mangaluru, the founder of Mr Rescuer, Tauseef Ahmed has kickstarted a one-of-a-kind pet first aid kit distribution. This pet first aid kits will be given to police stations across the city.

This campaign kickstarted on Friday. The inauguration of this programme was done by handing over the first kit the city’s police commissioner N Shashi Kumar at the Bajpe police station.  While speaking to The Times Of India, Tauseef stated that the cost of each kit is INR 550. The kit comprises of antiseptic creams, spray, gauze and cotton.

In conversation, Tauseef mentioned that “This project is dedicated to the police. The city police have been supportive whenever there is an issue over animal rights. Every single time there was an animal cruelty case, we have had the best of support. Not just this, if anyone has visited any police station, one will find dogs, cats cows being fed and taken care of by the staff there. There are several instances of police staff feeding animal strays”.

This is a great step in the right direction to shape a better path for both humans and animals to co-exist. Mr Rescuer has been established the NGO with a goal in mind to serve the animals in distress. Tauseef built this with the aim of providing quality treatment and care to be a helping hand to the voiceless around Mangaluru / Mangalore. You can connect with Tauseef here
