Your pooch will enjoy eating pumpkin if it is given to him in a slightly unique way. Here is a way your pooch can enjoy the goodness of a pumpkin along with the sweetness of banana, making it the perfect and healthy treat for them.

Ingredients:

  • One ripe banana.
  • Half fresh pumpkin puree
  • One teaspoon honey
  • 1 ½ cup whole wheat flour.

1½ teaspoon baking powder.

Follow the steps to DIY this unique, yet healthy treat:

In a large mixing bowl, add a riped banana, pumpkin puree, honey, and start to mix it thoroughly. You can use your hands to mash the banana and blend it well with the other ingredients.

To make the dough a little dryer, add a certain amount of flour powder to the mixer. While kneading the dough add a pinch of baking powder to it. Make smooth rolls by sprinkling flour on your cutting surface.

Spread the rolls out like bread and use cookie-cutter molds to cut them into the desired shapes and sizes. Ensure that all the cookies are completely dried before putting them into the oven.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the cookies on a baking sheet and bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, or until they turn a light golden colour.

Remove the cookies from the oven and set them aside to cool. After the cookies have cooled down, store the cookies in an air-tight container so that they don’t get soft or catch a fungus. Treat them to your furry friend whenever you feel like showering some love on your furry baby.
