Cooking for The Furry Ones!

Cooking for The Furry Ones!

There are two sides of a coin to this one! Some pet parents are switching from the packaged pet food to home-cooked meals as they’ve been seeing a change in their pet’s likes and dislikes. Some are switching to healthy home-cooked meals because they too have the desire to feed their furry ones what they are consuming. But pet parents should be aware that what we consume has a method to be prepared and what the furry ones can consume has an alternate prep to be followed. It can get a bit daunting to think of learning to cook in a new style for your furry one. But once you’ve mastered the technique, it can be fun for both, you, and your furry baby’s diet!

Certain ingredients used in our food are also pet-friendly if cooked the right way. But it is imperative to keep in mind that these aren’t high on fat or calories as it can disturb their system. The flipside of making your dog’s food in the comfort of your home is that you know exactly what you’re adding into their meal. The proportions of each ingredient are in control. Nothing is too much or too little. As the reigns are in your hands, you can be precise and accurate with the amounts of the ingredients being used for cooking the meal. One thing to keep in mind is that as this homemade meal is going to be fed to your furry one, it needs to cater to their bodily needs. We, humans, have a different intake and requirement and so that needs to be erased or unlearned when cooking for him or her. But at the same time, it’s equally important to note that just like how our bodies need to strike a good balance, so do theirs!

Here’s an easy and simple DIY Healthy Homecooked Meal you can try your hand at:-
