Flavored Popsicle treat

Ingredients:

  • Carrots
  • Spinach & Lettuce
  • Raspberries (You may use any other fresh fruit that your bunny enjoys)

Method:

Through this recipe, you’ll be able to create three different types of popsicles for your bunny. The first one is a carrot popsicle, the second one is a spinach & lettuce popsicle, and the third one is a fruit-based popsicle.

All you need to do is add individual ingredients to the blender with some water and blend them well. Add the mixture to the ice tray and let them freeze. Ensure to fill the ice tray half and not full. This will ensure that your bunny doesn’t consume too many treats in a day. Freeze the treats until solid, it might take up to 5 to 6 hours depending on the temperature of your refrigerator. You can serve him or her 1 to 2 popsicles in a day.

Peanut butter treat

Ingredients:

  • ½ Banana
  • ½ Apple
  • 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  • Almonds

Method:

Take a clean bowl and mash half a banana into it. Do not use banana skin. Peel the apples and chop them into small pieces. Ensure to de-seed the fruit before you chop them. Add the apples and two tablespoons of peanut butter to the mixture. Mix all the ingredients well. You will have a solid dough-like but sticky mixture.

Roll the mixture into mini balls and place them on an aluminum sheet. Take the almonds, cut them into half, and place a piece above every treat. Freeze the treats for around 3 to 4 hours until they’re chill and it’s ready to serve.

While preparing these frozen treats ensure to pick fresh, organic, and pesticide-free fruits and veggies. Wash them well before you start with the treat prep. Unclean or pesticide-grown fruits or veggies can cause severe harm to you and your furry one’s health.

Once your frozen treats are ready, you and your furry one can enjoy the noon’s Popsicle sessions together. This DIY idea will definitely make you a cool pet parent! Your bunny will thank you for being so considerate towards him or her.
